How Manai works

Choose the narration voice for your guided practice

Manai lets you choose an available narration voice when producing guided audio. A voice preview can help you judge whether the sound feels comfortable, while the script and pauses determine what you are asked to do. Some narration options support additional delivery instructions; support varies by voice provider. Choose the combination that fits the state you want to practice, then review the finished recording.

Choose for the moment you will use it

The narrator you enjoy during a quiet evening may feel too sleepy before an important conversation. A voice that sounds energizing in a short sample may become distracting during a longer reflection.

We think the useful question is: can I comfortably follow this voice while doing the practice? “Most impressive” and “easiest to return to” are different judgments. You do not need an authoritative performance to rehearse an ordinary, meaningful response.

Manai’s voice selection and Voice Library include preview playback for available samples. Listen for clarity, pace, and whether you find yourself straining to follow. A sample introduces the voice; it is not a preview of every line in your final session.

Separate three decisions

Voice identity is the selected narrator. Delivery is how the narration is performed, where the selected option supports additional instructions. Wording is the actual script.

If “I am unstoppable” feels unlike you, changing the narrator will not solve that mismatch. Revise the words. If an instruction arrives before you have finished imagining, ask for more pause time.

Original illustrative excerpt to review:

You do not need the whole answer yet. Let the first useful sentence be enough to begin.

Imagine using this before a planning meeting. You might prefer a clear, conversational delivery over a hushed bedtime style. This excerpt is an editorial example, not a recorded comparison between Manai voices.

Give an actionable request

Use an available narrator whose preview sounds clear and conversational. This is a four-minute practice before a planning meeting. Keep the sentences short and leave time after the question. Where the selected voice supports delivery guidance, keep it unhurried without making it sleepy.

Additional voice-style instructions are not supported identically across providers. Use the controls offered for the chosen voice and judge the resulting audio. A request for a tone is guidance, not a guarantee of an exact performance.

Generate the recording after settling on the script and voice. Then listen in the setting where you expect to use it, at a comfortable volume. The final combination matters more than the isolated sample.

Frequently asked questions

Can I preview a narration voice?

Manai offers previews for available voice samples in its voice selection and library flows. Availability can differ between voices. A sample does not contain your entire custom script.

Does changing the narrator require new audio?

Yes. A saved recording retains the voice used to produce it. Generate a new audio version to hear the same script with a different available narrator.

Can I use my own voice?

Eligible active paid accounts can create one personal voice when provider capacity is available. See the personal-voice guide for current limits.

Can every voice follow custom delivery instructions?

No. Support depends on the selected provider. You can still shape the script and intentional pauses, but do not assume every narrator offers the same tone or performance controls.
