How Manai works

Save and replay a personal practice in Manai

A Manai practice is something you can keep and replay. Once the audio is ready, return to the saved practice in your Library instead of creating it again each time you want the same guidance.

A useful practice deserves a second listen

The first creation involves choices: the situation, words, voice, and pacing. Replaying lets you benefit from that work without making those choices again. The point is to have a familiar resource available when you want it.

Consider a short transition between work and home. If its opening recognizes your setting and its ending fits the moment, the same recording may remain useful for many evenings. You do not need a new version simply because another day has passed. See when to replay a practice that resonates.

Make the saved practice easy to recognize

Give it a title that names the occasion or purpose. “Before the workload conversation” is easier to identify than “Calm.” A distinctive cover image can help you recognize it visually.

Your Library provides ways back to your content, including recent and liked practices. Open the item and check that the audio is ready before treating it as part of a time-sensitive routine. Saving a draft is different from finishing its narration.

If there are multiple audio versions, listen to the one you intend to use. An earlier version can still contain words you subsequently changed in the script.

Replay and creation have different limits

Playing an existing audio version does not generate a new narration. Asking Manai to rewrite a script or produce another version is a different action and may use creation allowance.

Listening still follows your plan. The current Free plan allows ten minutes of listening per day; Plus and Pro include unlimited listening. Paid plans have creation allowances, so “unlimited listening” does not mean unlimited new production. The pricing page is the reference for current limits.

A simple habit is to create when you have a clear reason to change something, then replay while the result continues to fit.

Prepare offline listening deliberately

The iPhone player offers a download control for offline listening. Download while connected and wait until it completes; merely seeing an item in your Library does not mean its audio is stored on the device.

Before a trip or an unreliable connection, open the downloaded practice and check playback. Keep enough device storage available. Download status is tied to the device and saved files, so do not assume a download on one phone also exists elsewhere.

Offline readiness is also separate from creation: new narration and uploads require a connection. This makes a finished, checked practice the useful thing to prepare in advance.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to recreate a practice every time?

No. Open the saved practice and play its existing audio. Create another version when you want a change in the words, voice, pacing, or other production choices.

Does replay use my creation allowance?

Replaying existing audio is listening, not new audio generation. Your plan’s listening limits still apply, and requesting a new narration is a creation action.

Is everything in my Library available offline?

No. Use the iPhone download control and confirm that downloading finishes. Library storage and a completed download on your device are different things.

Should I keep replaying if the practice stops fitting?

You can stop, choose a different practice, or revise the part that no longer fits. Familiarity can be useful without making an old script the right choice for every future situation.

A note on wellbeing

Manai offers educational wellness practices. It is not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. If a practice feels uncomfortable, stop. Seek qualified support for health concerns or urgent distress.
